How long have you been with LockTite Storage and what’s your favorite part about working in self-storage?
June 2013. I love helping people. My job requires a multitude of tasks to assess the needs of our clients and to help them find their perfect storage unit.
What’s unique about your location?
Our location has a rain water collection system and acres of beautiful green space. We also offer our conference room for free.
What’s a common thing people don’t understand about self-storage?
We are so much more than a self-storage facility. It’s about community, people helping people. Every person that walks in the door–you develop a relationship with them that goes way beyond the storage business.
How long have some of your tenants been with your location?
I have several tenants that have been at our location since the day it opened in 2010.
What are people commonly storing with you? What’s the most interesting thing someone has stored?
We have several businesses and tradesmen that store their additional inventory and equipment. We also have families that are waiting for their new homes to be complete. We have two food trucks that currently moved into our covered RV parking. It is a fun way to start the day seeing the beautiful graphics on their trucks.
Why should someone in the Southwest Austin/Dripping Springs areas consider your location for self-storage?
Our facility is beautiful and peaceful. We work at keeping it immaculate. Our staff always takes an extra step to offer a smile, a cold refreshment and snack. We also offer free use of our 14′ box truck or 12’ cargo trailer for you to use for your move!
When you’re not helping people with self-storage what do you do for fun?
I love spending time with my grandchildren, volunteering at our local grade school and reading.
Where are you located in Wimberley?
We are located at 16955 Ranch Road 12, 4 miles north of The Square in downtown Wimberley. Once you pass Winters Mill Pkwy City of Woodcreek Entrance look for our storage property entrance on the left. If traveling from the Dripping Springs area our property is 11.1 miles South of Hwy 290. When you pass Jacobs Well Rd. and Craggs Do it Best Lumber look for our storage property entrance on the right.
